Terms of Service for Klassens

1. Introduction

Welcome to Klassens. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Klassens app, website, and related services operated by Kappish AB (org. nr 559514-7983).

Klassens is designed for verified school communities and focuses on positive interactions through compliments and polls in a secure environment.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, registering, or using Klassens, you enter a binding agreement with Kappish AB and agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the service.

We may update these Terms as laws, technology, or service functionality evolves. Material updates are announced in-app before they take effect.

3. Eligibility and School Access

To use Klassens, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old, or have verified guardian consent if required by law.
• Use a valid school private code to access your school community.
• Comply with applicable Swedish and EU law.

You represent that your school affiliation details are accurate. Misrepresentation may lead to suspension or termination.

4. Account Security and Private Codes

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and protecting your login credentials.

School private codes are confidential and for authorized users only. Sharing codes outside your school is prohibited.

Kappish AB may suspend accounts or invalidate school codes if misuse, leakage, or unauthorized access is detected.

5. Service Functionality and AI Content

Klassens provides notifications, compliments, and sentiment-matched AI-generated imagery within school communities.

You may receive service notifications. Notification permissions are managed through your device settings.

AI-generated imagery and related assets are provided for in-app viewing only under a limited, non-transferable license.

6. Acceptable Use

Klassens is intended for respectful and positive interaction.

You must not engage in harassment, bullying, hate speech, impersonation, illegal activity, or attempts to bypass platform security.

We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Moderation and Enforcement

Kappish AB may investigate misuse and take proportionate action including warnings, suspensions, and account termination.

For serious abuse or unlawful activity, we may report incidents to relevant authorities where legally required.

You are responsible for your behavior and any content you submit.

8. Disclaimers

Klassens is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free service, or that AI output will always match user expectations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, implied warranties are excluded.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, Kappish AB is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

This includes losses related to service interruptions, third-party behavior, or unauthorized access despite appropriate safeguards.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Swedish law.

Disputes are resolved by Swedish courts, with Stockholm District Court as court of first instance unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Continued use of Klassens after the effective date means acceptance of updated Terms.
