1. Introduction

Welcome to Komplimang! These Terms of Use ('Terms') govern your use of the Komplimang application and services provided by Komplimang AB, a Swedish company with organization number 559514-7983.

Komplimang is a social platform designed for students in Sweden. Our vision is to provide a safe and engaging place where you can connect with your school community through anonymous polls, compliments, and other interactive features. By using Komplimang, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Komplimang AB. By downloading, installing, registering for, or otherwise using the Komplimang application and its services, you agree to follow these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms in their entirety, you may not use Komplimang.

We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Any changes take effect immediately after they are published in the app or on our website. Your continued use of Komplimang after publication of amended Terms means you accept the new Terms.

3. Eligibility and Geographic Restrictions

To use Komplimang, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old.
• Be located within Sweden's geographical boundaries. The app is exclusively available to users in Sweden.
• Comply with all applicable Swedish laws and regulations.

Komplimang is exclusively available to users in Sweden. Access from outside Sweden is not permitted and may result in account termination.

4. Account Creation and Content

To create an account, you need to log in via Google or Apple ID. You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is correct.

One account only: Only one account per person is allowed. Creating fake or multiple accounts is strictly prohibited.

User Content: By uploading a profile picture or other content, you grant Komplimang AB a non-exclusive right to display this content within the app and your community.

You are responsible for protecting your account information and may not share it with anyone else.

5. Services, Purchases, and Virtual Items

Komplimang offers features such as Polls, Compliments, and premium unlocks.

In-app purchases: Some features, virtual items (e.g., 'Coins' or 'Gems'), or subscriptions may require in-app purchases. Prices are stated in Swedish Krona (SEK).

No Monetary Value: Virtual items and currency have no monetary value outside of the app and cannot be exchanged for real money or refunded. Waiver of Right of Withdrawal: By purchasing digital content or virtual items in the app, you acknowledge and agree that the content is delivered immediately, and you thereby waive your statutory right of withdrawal (ångerrätt) under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act.

6. Connection to Your Community

Komplimang connects you to your chosen community (which we call 'school' in the app).

These communities are created and managed by us. They are not officially linked to any real schools or their registries.

We reserve the right to monitor, merge, or close communities at our discretion.

7. Anonymity and 'Reveals'

Komplimang operates on a semi-anonymous basis.

Voting: When you vote, your identity is initially hidden from the recipient. Revealing votes: The recipient can, by using in-app currency or subscriptions, choose to see who voted for them.

User Awareness: By using the app, you acknowledge and agree that your identity (name/profile) may be revealed to the recipient if they utilize a 'reveal' feature or 'God Mode'.

8. Account Limitations and Prohibited Behavior

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may lead to immediate account termination:

Creating multiple or fake accounts. Harassment, bullying, threats, or discrimination against other users. Impersonating another person. Distributing illegal, offensive, or hateful content.

Violation of these limitations may result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts and device bans.

9. Reporting and Moderation

Reporting: If you see something inappropriate, you can report it directly in the app.

Actions: We review reports and reserve the right to take appropriate action, including removing accounts or content without prior warning.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is of utmost importance. We collect and process your personal data in accordance with Swedish law and GDPR. For a complete description of how we handle your data, please read our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

Komplimang AB's liability is limited to the extent permitted by Swedish law. We are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the app.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for our services during the past twelve (12) months.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. All disputes arising in connection with your use of the app shall be resolved by Swedish courts.
